Project Marketing Administrator
SPAEDA, Hestercombe House, Taunton, Somerset
12 Month Fixed Term Contract starting Sept 2017
Full Time 37.5 hours* £16,620 – £24,442 Depending on experience
SPAEDA works with a variety of educational establishments and partnerships across Somerset by advocating best practice in arts education. We provide opportunities designed to enhance and enrich artistic and creative learning central to children and young people’s development via activities including dance, drama, music, art & design, craft, digital media and creative writing.
In supporting the Artistic Director in the delivery of a variety of funded projects, your duties will include; office management, book keeping, minute taking, enquiry and booking administration, event management, database management, active involvement in supporting and promoting fundraising activities, including developing and updating our website, creating and circulating bulletins, social media management and general project and administrative duties. You will also act as Health and Safety officer, ensuring appropriate records are maintained including accident reporting and provision of first aid kits.
An experienced administrator you will have strong working knowledge of Word and Excel and be confident with websites and social media. Experience of Xero, WordPress and Mail-Chimp (or similar packages), is desirable. An ability to attend meetings and events held throughout Somerset is also required. Previous experience within the education or arts sector would be advantageous.
